Dylan joined AMP (Australia) in 1999 as a self-employed financial adviser. He gained experience in all aspects of financial planning, wealth management and retirement planning. After working with AMP (Australia) for four years, Dylan went on to work for an independent advice practice in Australia.

Professional experience

Dylan started his own financial banking licence and employed over 225 financial advisers around Australia, to work under his brand IPRAXIS Pty Ltd. As CEO, Dylan was essentially responsible for the professional conduct, training and ongoing support of all his financial advisers, positioned throughout Australia. In 2009 he further established IPRAXIS FINANCIAL SERVICES Inc. in the Philippines with over 65 international staff, trained to Australian AFA standard, in support of the Australian company of advisers.

After 21 years away, it was time to come home to NZ in 2014. He took an employed role as an Adviser for a NZ advisory practice for a few years. He valued the first-class training and NZ compliance offered, then was ready to launch THE ADVICE HUB LIMITED.

Lending a knowledge-base gained through experience spanning three countries and over 20 years, Dylan confidently shares his expertise in financial planning, wealth management and retirement planning. Furthermore, he is an established mentor to colleagues throughout the financial industry.

Dylan has served clients from every walk of life, at every stage of life – and that is something that he honestly values. He shares his empathy, along with the width and breadth of his expertise to ensure that his clients secure their best possible outcome.

Accomplishments, memberships, and community service

Dylan has been teaching adult education at community colleges in Australia and now NZ, covering the topics of retirement, investment, insurance and saving, since 2001. That has remained close to his heart, as he is committed to sharing knowledge and opportunities in his community. This teaching in larger groups has also enhanced the development of his in-depth understanding of client issues.

At home

Dylan considers his greatest and most rewarding role in life to be father of his two sons and partner to his wife Brooke. Family life brings him an awesome sense of personal fulfilment, along with the challenges and opportunities of being actively engaged with his children’s sporting interests and education on every level of their lives. He has also, always nurtured a love of the sea and enjoys getting out onto the harbour whenever he can.
